Wonderful “Buttermilk” Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c Water
  • 1 ts Egg Beaters? 99% egg
  • 1/2 ts Baking soda
  • 1 c Whole-grain wheat flour –
  • 1/4 ts Salt
  • 2 tb Water
  • 6 oz Yogurt, skim milk – * see
  • ** see note
  • Substitute – ** see note
  • Note
  • Well beaten with:
  • 1 ts Baking Powder

Instructions

  1. Blend the yogurt, water, and Egg Replacer mixture thoroughly. Combine the remaining ingredients in a separate bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until moistened. Cook on a nonstick griddle over medium heat until golden brown on both sides, about 2 minutes total.
